Yacht days, sunset cruises and gatherings on the water, from three hours to a full day out of the marina.
A day on the water is the easiest booking to enjoy and the hardest to move once it is set, so the details are worth getting right at the start.
Charters run from Dubai Marina and Dubai Harbour. A half day is four hours, a full day is eight, and a sunset cruise is usually three. The boat is booked by you, or by us on your instruction. We do not own boats and we take nothing from the people who do, so when we recommend one it is because it is good.
Tell us how many people are coming. A booking for two is a completely different day from a booking for twelve, and the companion who suits one will not always suit the other.
Bring less than you think, and bring a hat. Sun, glare and salt make long days on the water harder than they look, and the marina is a poor place to discover what you have forgotten.
Weather is the one thing nobody controls. Between June and September the middle of the day is genuinely unpleasant, and a sunset cruise is almost always the better booking. If the sea is called off, your booking moves. It does not disappear.
