BUSINESS
A companion for client dinners, conferences and corporate evenings, where the point of the night is the room rather than the company.
Some evenings are work. A client dinner, a conference reception, an awards night where arriving alone gets noticed. On these bookings the brief matters more than usual.
Tell us what the event is and who will be in the room. If there is a subject she should be able to hold a conversation about, say so. If there is a subject best left alone, say that too. Several of our companions have careers of their own, so a business conversation is not a problem. It simply goes better when she knows what is coming.
If you would like an explanation ready for the evening, agree it when you book rather than in the taxi. The simplest one works best: she is a friend, and almost nobody asks a second question.
Send the invitation or the dress code and the rest is handled.
Discretion matters more on these evenings than on any other kind, and we treat them that way. What happens at the event is not discussed afterwards, with anyone.
